I grew up in Maui with no clear path to aviation. I moved to New England, built a career in software engineering, and spent years working toward the day I could fly full-time. Now I'm finishing my CFI and making that transition.
I also bring five years of software engineering experience — two of those at Jeppesen ForeFlight, where I built features for the EFB that pilots use every day. That foundation in documentation, standardization, and technical systems translates directly to a structured training environment.
I'm also a Skyhaven Flying Club member, where I'm responsible for aircraft care, pre- and post-flight cleaning, inspections, and squawk documentation across all four New England seasons.
