I grew up in Maui with no clear path to aviation. I moved to New England, built a career in software engineering, and spent years working toward the day I could fly full-time. Now I'm finishing my CFI and working as a flight simulator technician at Flight Sim Coach.

Five years of software engineering experience back that work — two of those at Jeppesen ForeFlight, where I built features for the EFB that pilots use every day. That foundation in documentation, standardization, and technical systems translates directly to a structured training environment.

As a Skyhaven Flying Club member, I'm responsible for aircraft care, pre- and post-flight cleaning, inspections, and squawk documentation across all four New England seasons.
